(ACIS)-generated report when the facility is not automated. The report will be prepared within the first duty
day following the prisoner's incarceration. Information not available initially will be entered as it becomes
available. The DD Form 2710 will accompany the prisoner upon transfer to any subsequent place of
incarceration both in hardcopy and automated format. (See figure 1-8 a-e.)
j. Take Photographs.
Individual identification photographs will be taken of each in-processing prisoner. A name board or
similar method of identifying the prisoners will be used. A minimum of two front and two right profile pictures
will be taken. Photographs will be retained in the prisoner's correctional treatment file. They will be used for

l. Assign Custody Grade.
During in-processing and based upon evaluation of all information concerning the prisoner, a custody grade

custody grade such as installation parolee, minimum custody, medium custody, or maximum custody. See
