INTRODUCTION
Traffic law enforcement is directed toward making the road safe for all traffic and toward encouraging
voluntary compliance with the traffic laws by all motorists. Military police and equipment must be
placed where they are most needed and most effective. Often the mere presence of military police at a
location or point can reduce violations and accidents.

1. General.
Safe and efficient movement of traffic is largely dependent on effective police traffic supervision. The
principal functions of a police traffic supervisor are--
