Crime prevention survey reports are often reviewed by key Department of the Army
and Department of Defense officials.
CPS reports must be written in a manner
understandable to persons not familiar with the surveyed activity to achieve the
desired results. You must review CPS reports written by your agents to ensure the
reports are concise and communicate effectively.
Crime prevention surveys will be prepared in accordance with CIDR 195-1.
